Reproduction refers to the sexual system as well as cell regeneration. We reproduce in order to have children and continue the human race.

We also use the act of reproduction – sex – to strengthen bonds and express love. Sex is closely tied to creativity and our life force, so lovemaking enables us to honour and respect ourselves and our partner, thereby increasing our mental, physical and spiritual well-being as well as our consciousness.

Because it is now thought that each cell has its own consciousness, cell regeneration also plays an enormous role in health and well-being. If our cells begin to distort as they regenerate dis-ease may result, but when our bodies reproduce themselves healthily, we stay fit.

When there are problems with sex and reproduction there maybe underling emotional issues such as disapproval of self or others, a lack of creativity, anger, shame, grief, and a lack of emotional nourishment and connection.
Music can be especially helpful here. Blues, Hispanic and African rhythms can stimulate sexual energies while ballads can foster romance. Opera can be emotionally stimulating while dance can bring people together, enabling relaxation and fun while loosening up the body. Interestingly, belly dancing was created by women to help with reproductive problems and pain.

Classical music also plays its part. Try listening to Gluck’s Dance of the Blessed Spirits to help conception and in childbirth; Stravinski’s The Firebird to stimulate romance; Beethoven’s Moonlight Sonata to help compatibility; and Tchaikovski’s Sleeping Beauty for all and any reproductive issues.
