Halfway to Fullness
As we arrive at the Waxing First Quarter Moon, we stand at a powerful threshold halfway between the New Moon and the Full Moon, and a quarter of the way through the entire lunar cycle. The Moon appears as a perfect half circle in the sky, balanced between darkness and light, between beginning and culmination.

Energy on the Rise
Just as the Moon’s light continues to grow, so does energy. Ideas flow more freely. Inspiration arrives unbidden. The ambitions set during the New Moon start to feel not just possible but probable.
At this point in the cycle, you may feel that the universe really is on your side. Synchronicities multiply. Coincidences appear – you think of someone moments before they call. You need information and it arrives from an unexpected source. You wonder about next steps and a doorway opens.
Opening to Possibilities
The Waxing First Quarter Moon is the time to expand your thinking, widen your gaze and watch everything around you with curiosity and openness.
Opportunities will arise, doorways will open, pathways that seemed blocked will suddenly clear and journeys that felt arduous will become richer, more meaningful.
If you remain mindful and present, your life will be like a flower opening to the sun.
Now is the time to immerse yourself fully in life and follow the growing light of the Moon. Be aware of the signals the universe is sending and receive them gratefully. Let them strengthen the intentions you planted during the New Moon letting the seeds grow from roots to plants reaching up to the sun.
The Gift of Obstacles
However, don’t be surprised if you also encounter a few curve balls during this phase.

Rather than seeing them as obstacles, see them as teachers to grow your wisdom and understanding, strengthen your resolve and show you where your actions might not quite align with your intentions and vision.
Be aware of any shadows such as self-doubt and imposter syndrome that may arise. Work out whether they’re just fear and old programming, or something deeper that is ready to come up into the light.
Then, if you need to, adjust or even change your intentions. Use this phase’s energy to refine, redirect, or completely reimagine what you’re creating. The Waxing First Quarter Moon is supremely practical. This is not a time for passive contemplation. This is a time for engaged action.
Enjoy This Time
Too often we rush through the waxing phase, impatient for the Full Moon’s revelation, but the Waxing First Quarter holds its own particular joy: the thrill of momentum building, the excitement of seeing your dreams take form, the delight of synchronicity, the satisfaction of aligned action. Let manifestation feels fun rather than forced. Relish this rising energy like a wave and let it carry you forward with power and grace.

- Where is the growing light of the Moon guiding me?
- Is my vision strong enough or do I need to refine it?
- Are my doubts imposter syndrome or a nudge to reframe my intentions?
- What opportunities are presenting themselves right now?
- How can I say yes to what’s trying to emerge?
- Am I enjoying this journey or just focused on the destination?
The light is growing. Energy is rising. The universe is conspiring in your favour. Use this time, enjoy and trust it.
